During this time they did not keep birth records however there was a record of his baptism which took place on April 26th, 1564. William Shakespeare was the third child to John and Mary. Their first two chldren died of the bubonic plague.

In 1613 Globe theatre burns down. This is the place where all of Shakespeare's plays were performed. In 1614 the theatre opens back up.

William Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616, he was 52 years old. In his lifetime he averaged completing 1.5 plays a year from the time he first started writing them in 1589. Aside from creating 37 plays and 154 sonnets he was often found acting. He acted in many of his own plays and acted for other people.
