    The stamp act was passed by the British government on March 22, 1765. New tax was imposed on American Colonists, and for every piece of printed paper they had to pay tax. They taxed all these things to use the money to help pay the costs of defending and protecting the American Frontier near the Appalachian Mountains.

    The Boston massacre happened on March 5 1770. It was the killing of 5 colonists by British regulars. It happened from tension rising in the American colonies from when the royal troops first appeared in Massachusetts to enforce heavy tax burden imposed by the town shed acts in October 1768.

    Boston Tea Party happened in 1773. The American colonists didn’t like getting taxed on tea and they thought it broke their rights of liberty. So American colonists dressed up as Indians boarded a British ship and dumped 40-45 tons of tea into Boston Harbor. When King George III found out he shut down Boston Harbor because the American Colonists waisted 2-3,000,000 millions of dollars worth of tea.
