I feel this belongs on the timeline because this was a turning point in the english language as it allowed people to read and write easier. Reading and writing is a huge part of media and that's why it is a top media innovation.

    The Printing Press is a machine used to mass produce writing materials like books by pressing ink on a surface like cloth or paper. This was used to press books and other writing materials without having to write it by hand. I feel it belongs on the timeline because it allowed people to buy books at a cheaper price because of the mass production instead of someone writing a book by hand. MAny things like magazines, books and other writing materials could not have been made without it.

Things like YouTube, Twitter and Facebook would not have been possible to make if it weren't for this concept.
