  • The first mass was celebrated in their home in 1843

  • In 1860 a small church was built

  • In 1892 four mercy nuns were secured from Albury and a covent was established in wodonga

  • In 1913 St. Augustines presbytery was built and served wodonga priests until 1990

  • By 1952 there were 520 student enrolled at St. Augustines

  • St. Monica's was opened in 1973 for grades 1 to 3

  • in january 1974 wodonga was divided into two parishes

  • St. Augustines school major renovations were completed in 1989
