On October 14 1914 war started on the other side of the world and the ANZACS went to help fight for Britian leaving with many horses and troops.

On the 25th of April 1915 almost 20,000 ANZACs changed from the large troopships into smaller row boats and rowed to what later became ANZAC cove. The troops who made it ashore were faced with horribly steep cliffs and rugged ridges.
The ANZACs were 1.5 miles to far north. -
On May the 24th a cease-fire was held in order to allow parties to retreat their dead in no mans land and collect their wounded.
