Cavour's work with Sardinia
In 1852 when cavour became Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sardinia, he slowly reorganized and strengthened the army of Sardinia. He help Sardinia a lot by, creating helpful buildings such as, factories, railroads, and banks. He also helped better trade with other countries. But, as days went on he tried to reduce the political power of the churchs and gave it to the state. In the war cavour had made allies with france and Great Britain. Garibaldi and the Thousand
He devoted his life to the Italian freedom. He led an army of more then 1000 men, into Sicily with his "Expedition of the Thousand", around the year 1860 Garibaldi captured the city of Sicily. -
