the declaration of independence was created and signed. this was the creatioon of the us and the start of a system of self government that would serrve as a template for other nations to follow and implement. This changed america because it started it and created the first laws and rules for the nation. America is best described as new and rebllious at this time. (especially by Great Britten) -
the emancipation proclamation was created and signed
This changed america because it staited that we can't own people. It ended slavery and further caused a devide in the nation. americaa is described as devided, unequal, and crazy for ending tradition. The outcome was having a bigger army because they accepted black soldures and eventually lead to equal rights. -
Population Reaches 46 Million
this showed the world that we are a big nation and we could build somthing out of a self-governd nation. America could be described as strong and independent at this time. -
World's Fair Starts
Worlds fair starts and shows of american progress so far with steam engins and factory made materials. america could be described as advanced and hopefull. This was a time of change because of the new invintions and the showcase of inventions made by wemon. -
gilded age
this was a time of poverty and weige gaps. lots of revolts and immigration as well as growth in citys for jobs. the west was growing too because of the promise of minerals and gold. -
Gilded Age +Carnagie
Carnagie, rockerfellar, and Morgan were important people because they contolled the most wealth in the us at this time. For example Carnagie owned factories and gave infair weiges, but generously donated to charity.
