    It was a military operation to expel occupying Iraqi forces from Kuwait. A U.S. led coalition of 900,000 were positioned in the region. Coalition forces swiftly drove out Iraqi forces.
  • World Trade Center Bombing

    World Trade Center Bombing
    It was terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York, New York. A parked van in a parking garage the towers went off killing 6 people and injuring thousands.
  • Oklahoma City Bombing

    Oklahoma City Bombing
    It was a domestic terrorist attack truck bombing on a building in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The bombing killed 168 people, injured over 680 people, and caused an estimated $652 million worth of damages.
  • United States involvement in Serbia

    United States involvement in Serbia
    The U.S. got involved because of the fear of refugee crisis. They failed and over 380,000 people fled to Albania and almost 175,000 to Macedonia to get away from the war.
  • The Attack on the USS Cole

    The Attack on the USS Cole
    It was attack on a U.S. navy vessel while it was being refueled in Yemen's Aden harbor. 17 american sailors were killed and 39 injured. It was the deadliest attack on US navy vessel since 1987.

    It was a series a four terrorist attacks across the east coast by the terror group Al-Qaeda. The attacks killed 2,996 people, injured over 6,000, and caused at least $10 billion dollars in damage.
  • Invasion of Afghanistan

    It happened after the 9/11 attacks. Its purpose was to dismantle Al-Qaeda, and it a base of operations in Afghanistan by removing the Taliban from power.

    It was a carry-over from the War of Afghanistan. The U.S. and other countries and deposed the government of Saddam Hussein. The coalition aimed to disarm Iraq of nuclear weapons and to end Hussein's support for terrorism.

    It was a series of terrorist attacks in Paris, France. Three suicide bombers struck a football stadium. This was followed by mass shootings and suicide at other locations. Terrorist carried out another mass shooting and took hostages at a concert. The attacks killed 130 people and injured 413 people.
  • The San Bernadino Attack

    The San Bernadino Attack
    It was a mass shooting and an attempted bombing at an employee Christmas party in Bernadino, California. The two terrorist killed 14 and seriously injured 22 people.
