Jon Krakauer payed as much as $65,000 to come on the trip. This was not is first attempt to go on the expedition but his second time. It it very difficult to come on the trip because they don't know what they are getting themselve into. -

Later on during the weather change, that weather starts to turn into the disaster of a lifetime on Mt. Everest. The strom killed 8 hikers and after the whole expedition was done 15 people were killed. The strom was so bad that you could barely see what was right in front of you. -
