  • Tenis for two

    Tennis for two was the first computer game it was never released commercially and was designed to run on analogue computers
  • Atari PONG

    Atari pong was released in 1975 in console form but before that it was a arcade game designed to be as addictive as possible to keep people putting there money in the machines!
  • Nintendo Entertainment System

    The Nintendo Entertainment System or NES was released in 1985 and it used 8 bit technology and a cartridge system to load the games, 61million units were sold and its one of the most known consoles because of the well recognised games like super Mario Bros and donkey Kong
  • Nintendo 64Released

    The Nintendo 64 or N64 was nintendo's third console for the world market, the 64 stands for the 64bit cpu it used cartridges instead of cd's
  • Sega Dreamcast

    The Sega Dreamcast was the first games console with decent graphics 3d, it used a 100 MHz processor & and over 2 million consoles were sold
  • Sony PlayStation

    125 million playstations where sold, it used analogue joysticks & that mixed with the great 3d graphics for the time made the playstation the must have console of the day, it also used memory sticks to save at your check points. The game developers used this to make some great adventure games like ray man but Gran Turismo also ruled the racing scene
  • Microsoft X-Box

    Designed by microsoft the original xbox was alot like a home computer it used a coustomized version of windows xp & had a processor based on the pentium 3 & was the first games console to use a hdd.
  • Microsoft X-Box 360

    The Xbox 360 used the same principle as the original Xbox but packed a more powerful CPU & GPU, to the non technically minded it simply means better graphics and games with the wireless controllers & media centre which allows you to connect to your home computer through your modem. With the Xbox the best players are only a buttons press away because off Xbox live.
  • Sony PlayStation 3

    The PS3 is the successor to the PS2 & in many ways is the same as the PS2 apart from the cell processor it uses & the 6 axis controllers that are completely pointless, the gaming graphic's are good but not as good as the Xbox 360's and it is that for most cases but if you watch allot off HD movies i would by the PS3 because off the blue ray player, the ps3 has most the features off the Xbox but there not as good like the ps3 online feature would be good but the players aren’t as good as the Xbox
  • Nintendo Wii

    The nintendo wii has revolutionary controlls it used wireless controllers that track the movement off your hands, and has great addons like the wii fit which is designed to keep you fit! but most people walk straight past the wii because off the graphics that arent as good as the xbox or playstation
