    The Mass Vehicle Production started in 1908 when Henry Ford came up with a design which they would soon discover changed the world. The automobile that he was designing was used to get around faster especially with the rising population. This made an immediate impact on simple things like moving things from one place to another and making everyday living simpler, easier and quicker. Looking back if this never happened the world would be so much different and that is why this is so significant.

    The Treaty of Versailles was the settlement between all the different countries and Germany that allowed peace and ended World War 1. However many believe this is what sparked the beginning to World War 2. This ended a horrific war but it also could have started an even bigger war potentially and that is how a lot of people remember The Treaty of Versailles.

    The Jazz Age was a type of music genre that was very popular during the 1920’s. The most popular sort of Jazz was the Blues and this age basically made Hollywood. The end to this great age was when The Great Depression started and people were going bankrupt. Many black musicians were able to get recognised in this age which was a very significant thing to many people.

    Television was progressed over time and there was just one single inventor. Both people working together and individual created the evolution of the Television. This allowed different advertisements for companies to be showed around the world, also a place for entertainment and it also made more jobs available like acting etc. It really shows how far technology has come and how far it is today. Looking back makes us realise that it was tough and there was way less technology back then.

    The Market Crash of 1929 or better known as ‘Black Tuesday’ happened after World War 1 when the Stock Market crashed. The stock market is located at 11 Wall Street in New York, America and this was the most significant market crash in U.S history because it took another 25 years before the economy got back to where it was before the crash happened. The economy was distraught by this Stock Market crash and this lead to the beginning of The Great Depression.

    The Great Depression happened on the same day as The Market Crash of 1929 and it had a big connection to it. This was the day that millions of Americans were forced out of their job and lots of people become bankrupt. This forced the government into a better economy system.

To many White-Australians this is the day that makes them realise how far Australia as a country has progressed to become one. The Day of Mourning is a unique event and a very big part in Australia’s history.

    World War 2 was a worldwide war that was mainly focus around the Germans (Nazis) who were run by group leader, Adolf Hitler. The Germans wanted more space and they took over Austria and Czechoslovakia. When they took over Poland both England and France told Hitler that either they withdraw German forces from Poland or they go to war with them and that is how World War 2 started. There was a lot of impact in this war mainly being that there were millions of lives that were lost.

    The Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbour was a surprise attack. They did this because they wanted to continue their expansion within Asia and they were tired of negotiation from America. After attacking it killed roughly around 3000 Americans. It destroyed 21 ships and 188 aircrafts. This brought the Americans into World War 2. It was very significant because the Japanese were very successful and nearly wiped out America.

    The end of World War 2 was when the Germans also known as the ‘Nazis’ lead by Adolf Hitler surrendered. It was in the German city of ‘Reins’ which is where the Germans surrendered. This impacted people from all over the world meaning they don’t have a risk of putting their life’s on the line anymore. This is one of the most historical days over the world because we were know all put at peace with other countries.

    The Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima was taken after World War 2. This bombing was taken place to make the Japanese surrender which was the Americans triggering this massive bomb. This bomb was then followed by another Atomic bomb in Nagasaki. This resulted in the cause of innocent deaths. About 66,000 people died from the bombing, this includes the years after to the people exposed to the gas which caused cancers. This is always remembered as one of the most horrific events in the history of the ear

    The Declaration of Human Rights was decided by the General Assembly of The United Nations. This was because of the past experiences of World War 2 which made them push towards this big project. The Declaration of Human Rights means that everyone has the rights to their choices no matter who you are or where you live. This day is the birth place of where human interaction and acceptance from all around the world took place.

    The Melbourne Olympics was the first Olympics that Australia hosted. In the city of Melbourne this was a historical day for Australian sporting. Overall Australia came 3rd coming behind America and U.S.S.R. This was the best performance Australia had achieved in Olympic history. It impacted in new sporting legends such as Dawn Fraser who is an Aussie icon.

    The Cuban Missile Crisis was the closest encounter of a nuclear war in history. Nikita Khrushchev decided to place nuclear weapons in Cuba which is close to America. When a military airplane flew over and took pictures, President John F Kennedy acted immediately. It brought fear into many people that this could be a start of a nuclear war. It was later put to aside as Nikita Khrushchev made an agreement to get rid of the missiles in return to not invade Cuba.

    Martin Luther King Jr. Speech ‘I have a dream will goes down as the history’s greatest demonstration for freedom. On the steps of Lincoln Memorial he made this speech. It impacted on the fight for equality and freedom during the American Civil Rights Movement and it will always be remembered as one of the greatest speech’s ever made. Unfortunately Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on the 4th of April, 1968 by a sniper bullet.

    Martin Cooper made the 1st phone call which was 40 years ago. The call was made on a 9 inch Motorola DynaTAC. This allowed us to make calls to people when we are out and about because there are no cords and not relying on the home phone as much. The technology has gone further and advanced into smarter and smaller phones.

For 28 years it kept East Germans from the West Germans and when it got destroyed it got celebrated worldwide.
