    At 2:20 a.m. on April 14 1912, the Titanic sinks into the North Atlantic Ocean about 400 miles south of Newfoundland, Canada. The massive ship, which carried 2,200 passengers and crew, had struck an iceberg two and half hours before causing it to sink. The incident had killed between 1,490 and 1,635 deaths.

    In 1916, Sanger opened the first birth control clinic in the United States, but the clinic was immediately shut down by police, and Sanger was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Hitler also killed people he didnt like including Polish people, Catholics, Serbs and handicapped people. It is thought that the Nazis murdered as many as 17 million innocent people.

    On August 6, 1945 an atomic bomb known as Little Boy was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. The explosion was massive, it had destroyed the city and tens of thousands of people were killed.
    The bomb was dropped by a plane named the Enola Gay which was piloted by a man named Colonel Paul Tibbetts. The bomb itself was over 10 feet long and weighed around 10,000 pounds.

It is believed that James Earl Ray confirmed racist and small-time criminal, confessed to shooting and killing the revered civil rights leader.
