The Omaha race riot occurred in Omaha, Nebraska, September 28–29, 1919. The race riot resulted in the lynching of Will Brown, a black civilian; the death of two white rioters.

The stock markets crashed in late 1929. It continued to get worse as time went on. Many people were out of jobs and homeless.

A war fought to stop the spread of communism. Us Americans don't like communism so we sent troops to Vietnam. Half of Vietnam was communist while the other wasn't. We fought for the side that wasn't communist to try and stop the spread of it.
