    In 1992, a outbreak of violence, looting and arson took place in Los Angeles. The riots started because of 4 police officers severed beating of a African American which resulted in 7 days of rioting. Over 50 people was killed, and more than 2300. Around 1000 buildings which was around $1 billion dollars.

    Bill would run in 1992 and win the race against Bush Senior (370 - 168). Clinton was Governor of Arkansas from 1979–1981 and in 1983–1992. He was inaugurating on Jan, 20th, 1993.

    In 1994, the US would hold the World Cup. Brazil would win the World Cup against Italy (3-2). Even though soccer is not very popular, the games were still financially successful with 3,587,538 people attending in all.
  • O. J. Simpson Trials

    O. J. was a former Running Back for Bills and the 49er's in the NFL. In 1995, O. J. was put on trail due to the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman. The murders took place on June 12th, 1994 but the trail was six months later. Over the next 8 months, OJ would be found not guilty.
  • Oklahoma City bombing

    On April 19th, 1995, Timothy McVeigh, an security guard would rent a truck in front of the Alfred Federal Building in Oklahoma City. At 9:02 AM, the bomb exploded. Before it exploded, he would lock all the doors and went to the getaway car. 168 people died in the explosion, including 19 kids as well as over 700 injured.

    A deadly heat wave hits Chicago. Over 730 people dies from heat-related deaths. Most of the death's were from poor elderly residents. The temperature on July 13th, the hottest day in the heat wave hit 110 °F, and temperature during the night still in the 80's and 90's.

    In 1995, President Bill Clinton had a sex scandal with a 20 year old White House Intern, Monica Lewinsky. Monica would be transferred to the Pentagon and while there, she would confess to having a affair with the President to Linda Tripp. To prove that Lewinsky had an affair, she would tape her calls with Monica. In 1998, when the scandal became public, Clinton would denied the scandal, but later admitting to it. He would also get impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice.

    On April 20th, 1999, 2 High School students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold would shot up the school and attempt to bomb Columbine High School in Colorado. 12 students and 1 teacher killed before turning the guns on themselves. There was bombs put in the cafeteria but the bombs did not go off. They would go to the library and most of the students that died was from the library.
