    While developed in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll, Photoshop 1.0 wasn't available to the public till February 19, 1990.
  • Linux

    The operating system, Linux, was created by Linus Torvalds. Linux is used all around the world, in multiple devices. Chances are extremely high that you interact with a Linux machine everyday.
  • Text Message

    While the concept for text messaging was first developed by Friedhelm Hillebrand and Bernard Ghillebaert in the 80's, the first text message wasn't sent until Dec. 3, 1992 by Neil Papworth
  • DVD Player

    Optical Media was developed in the early 60s by David Paul Gregg and James Russell, though due to costs of production it didn't really take off. It wasn't until 1997 that DVD's went public.
  • Google

    Google has changed our lives in many ways, from being the largest search providers, to being a major pioneer in technology. It was officially launched in 1998.
