    The novel "Number the Stars" was written by Lois Lowry, and was one of the first historical fiction books entered into the American school curriculum novels.
  • Civil Rights Act of 1991

    The Civil Rights Act of 1991, helped to strengthen the laws presented in the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Prohibiting discrimination in employment based on a person's race, religion, or gender. The act also discussed the proof needed in a case of questioning an employer's liability.

    First called the Simon Personal Communicator was invented in 1992 but later released tot the American public in 1994. Created by the computer company International Business Machine, influencing the long line of smart phone that would be invented afterwards.
