Soldiers ended up using duck tape in multiple different ways such as using it as temporary bandages and adhesives for anything and everything. -

He impacted America in many different ways including ending WWII by dropping an atomic bomb in Japan along with bringing awareness to the cause of African-American civil rights by desegregating the military, banning discrimination in the civil service, and lastly by commissioning a federal report on civil rights.

The Cold War was years of tension built up between the democracies of the Western World and the communist countries of Eastern Europe. It is called a cold war because neither side fought the other directly. Deadly threats of nuclear annihilation kept the stakes high but neither side ended up launching their weapons because the risk was too high. Both sides were equipped equally with nuclear weapons that could wipe out an entire country, resulting in no real war.

The Marshall Plan, aka the European Recovery Program, consisted of a program that provided help for Western Europe. They did this because of the destruction WWII had caused. Thankfully this plan was able to provide close to 15 million dollars to help those who were affected.
