    Effects: The reconstruction after the Civil War was slower than it was supposed to be because Lincoln had a plan prepared for the U,S.
    It has been proofed that the assassination was planed.

    It ended August 12, 1898. It was a conflict between Spain and the United States. the main cause and issue was the independence of Cuba. Key People: Theodor Roosevelt.

Causes: Conflicts between the European super powers, Nationalism, imperialism and alliances. Effects: End of the German Empires and the establishment of the League of Nations.

    The world war ll was one of the largest and deadliest wars ever fought in world history. Effect: As a result of the World war ll, the Soviet Union and The United States became the two superpowers of the world, and the tension that arose between the two superpowers after came close to destroying humanity on several occasions. Key events: Nuclear weapons were used for the first time. Dates: Ended september 2nd 1945. Causes: Britain & France declared war on Germany because the invation of Poland.

    It enden in 1968. Causes: The people wanted freedom and the end of segregation. -Key People: Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus, and many african american people used her as an example of strenght and self-respect.

    It ended in April 30,1975. It occurred in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. The cause was that the United States wanted to free South Vietnam from communism. Effects: -58,193 soldiers died. -830,000 suffered of posttraumatic stress disorder. -At least 21,000 of the Vietnamese veterans became permanently disabled after the war. Also, one of the consequences of the Vietnam War in the U.S.A. was the "Hippie movement", people that protested in the streets against the Vietnam War and tried to stop it.

    Osama Bin Laden was the founder and leader of the Islamist group called al-Qaeda. He was killed in Pakistan by U.S. Navy SEALs. Effects: Symbolic victory on the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign and end of the terrorist projects that he led.
