Youtube has grown massively since its invention in 2005 with 1 Billion active users each month. Youtube is an extremely popular tool in means of online sharing of content and is known for bringing people viral success from funny videos, music clips, blogs and more.

Twitter allows users to microblog their thoughts and opinions via the service, becoming extremely popular with more than 100 million users by 2012. In the same year users were seen to post 340 million tweets a day, brining it viral success and showing the success of its popularity still today.

    Snapchat is a current and extremely popular form of multimedia messaging used globally. It was created by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy, and Reggie Brown in 2011 and since then data from 2017 shows that the app has over 158 million people using it every day, with users being said to open the app up to 18 times a day. Snapchat is therefore an extremely popular form of social media which allows users to share photos and videos extremely and quickly.
