  • Battle of Pequawket

    This war was a part of Dummer's War. The Pequawket warriors attacked the British Colonists.
  • French and Indian War

    This war was between the British Colonies and the French Colonies, and their allies. They were mainly fighting for the Ohio River Valley.
  • Stamp Act was passed

    This Act said that if anyone wanted to print on a material they would have to do it on a material imported from London.
  • Boston Massacre

    British soldiers fired in a mob and killed 5 men. This started many public protests these portests were very intense.
  • Tea Act was Passed

    The Tea Act was passed by the British Parliment. This Act aimed to eleminate the smuggling of tea.
  • Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party was a protest by the Sons of Liberty. This Protest was against the Tea Act. They packed their ship with Tea and poured it into the Harbor.
  • First Continental Congress Meets

    They met in Philadelphia, with 56 representatives from every colony except for Georgia
  • American Revolution

    This was a war between Great Britain and the 13 British colonies, they were fighting for independence. There were many smaller battles throughout the War.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    The British troops won the battle but suffered around 1,000 casualties. The Colonial Forces on suffered around 400.
  • Declaration of Independence

    The Continental congress forms the Declaration of Independence gaining Independence for America.
  • George Washington Elected President

    George Washington was unanimously voted as the first President.
  • Cotton Gin was invented

    Although we don't know a certain date for this invention we know that it was created in 1793 and patented in 1794. The cotton Gin was made by Eli Whitney and was used to loose cotton lint and prevent jams.
  • John Adams Inaugurated as the second President

    John Adams was elected the second President of the United States in Philidelphia.
