    Mark was born on June 13, 1993 at the Hospital of Salem County. He was born at 9;43 and was then proclaimed a newborn boy. He had blonde hair and green eyes. He also weighed 7 lbs and was 21 inches tall. It was important to him because not only was he born, but it was the first day of the rest of his life.

    The Sandy Shore Awaits
    On May 25, 1994, Mark and his family awakened early to embark on a very special journey. This journey was Mark's first trip to the beach. He grew to love the waves, the sand, and most importantly, the sandy shorts filled fun. His first day at the beach showed him that fun could be found anywhere and he would soon grow to love the beach throughout his life.

    The 1st Big Day
    It was Marks first birthday and excitement was definitely in the air. He had recieved many toys including a red roller car and a very special big bird cake that didnt last very long. His first birthday revealed to him the wonders of what a birthday was and why everyone loved them so much. Though he may have been too young to even remember what happened, he would always hold dear the first big day of his life and how special it would always be to him.

    The First Day of A Long Run
    September 5th was the first day of a very long running trend for Mark. That trend was school. He attended a tiny preschool that no longer exists but was close to his old home in Bridgeton NJ, right near the Bridgeton Hospital. This is where he would begin his education and his development of what he wanted to make of his life. Sure, he was young and had no idea what was in store for him in the future. What he was sure of was that he was eager to learn and to make new friends everywhere he went.

    Visit to the House of Mouse
    July 15 was Mark's first visit to the very famous House of Mouse, Disney World. He first had to travel to Florida to visit his Aunt and Uncle but then embarked to Disney. There he rode rides he would never forget and cooked a meal with Disney characters at the Characters Buffet. That is where Mark had began to think he wanted to be a chef when he grew old, but that dream soon faded as age came. He would always have a passion for cooking because of this wonderful memory.
  • A New Drumming Legacy

    A New Drumming Legacy
    After Christmas where he had received his very first drumset, his parents signed him up for his very first drum lessons and a local music shop called Percussion One. It was there where he would finally meet his mentor Kevin Chaffinch and learn everything he knows today about drumming.

    It was Mark's first day of High School and needless to say he was more nervous than he had ever been before. It was a new world filled with challenges, fun, and overall success. This is where Mark began to think about what he really wanted to do with his life. Music had always been a part of his life and High School helped him develop his abilities and help develop his love for music.

    Mark and his High School Drumline had won Best Percussion for the 2nd consecutive time at The Northern State Championships. They had also accomplished a championship at the New Jersey State Championships as well during his senior season. It also was the 2nd season his drumline had gone undefeated the entire season. He would always hold near and dear his line and will always remember them all as brothers and as one.

    The Return to the House of Mouse
    It was time to revisit the famous House of Mouse on Mark's Senior Trip. He enjoyed fun times on his trip at Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. He also enjoyed rooming at the All Star Sports resort with some of his best friends

  • The End, But a New Beginning

    The End, But a New Beginning
    On the prospective date of June 20, 2011, Mark will graduate High School and go on to attend college and study Music Education. Though he will see some of his friends again, it will be a bitter sweet ending to the best time of his life thus far. He will never forget everyone he has grown to love and will always keep his memories of them locked away and cherished.

    This will be one of the first few days Mark attends his prospective school of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. There he will study Music Education and will develop and education that will take him to soaring heights. There he plans on bettering himself and being an active student involved in mostly music and dramatic arts but also some sports such as soccer or golf.

    Holy Name Oh Holy Name
    During the summer of 2012, Mark hopes to become a part of his dream. He hopes to be a part of the Holy Name Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps as a part of their famous drumline. He hopes to do this because not only will it further his musical career to new heights, it will help him be a better musician and will benefit his future career options.

    Its Over....For Good!
    This will be the day that the long run comes to an end and the real world begins. This will be the day that Mark graduates from Rutgers University and will go on to a career as a professional music teacher. It will be the day that his adult life begins and his childhood is left behind, but never forgotten.
