    The Electoral College meets to vote on the presidential election. Obama recieved 365 electoral votes while McCain recieved 173 electoral votes.
  • Obama's Inauguration

    In the 20th amendment the date of the inauguration is set in the Constitution. This is when the new President is sworn into office and begins his term.
