This event actually occured during 8000 B.C. Selective breeding is when you take the triats of a certain animal and create something different. This was the early GM instead of traits there was genes. -

This is important because corn rootworm is a main disease. Rootworm is when Beetles affect your corn and produce larvae. This will affect GM Foods becuase GM Foods can advance and produce a gene of the worm to proterct it from this disease which will then help corn from all around the world. -
The Real Beginning of GM Foods
I think that in 2030 we will need GM Foods more than ever. More people will become obese and unhealthy due to the fact that technology will cause people to be more lazy. GM Foods then supply the nutrition to keep people healthy. The people want GM Foods because they want more nurition in place of excercise and other activities. So GM Foods will become a major industry and a major factor in our economy.
