NESD Rubric Formerly known as the CIA Rubric, Coordinators gathered together once again to modify and add to this document and rebrand it as the NESD Rubric. A new media literacy piece, which relied on the ISTE standards was added into the rubric.

I had the opportunity to receive feedback on the Media Literacy Piece from principals. Consequently some definitions were tightened up.

Wilma McKie and Cora Andreas began to develop the New Math 10 courses. They took more of a blended approach bringing in some web based activities.

Kirk and Robert were able to enhance the projects they planned with teachers by having a dedicated portable solution to digital access. A third set, earmarked for elearning has been used as well.

Smartboards hardware was distributed to participating schools.

NESD Google Apps has been heavily utilized by staff and students for collaborative purposes.

The Joomla server was launched which will house the new look Division Web Page as well as some school pages. Drupal will continue to be supported.
