    On this day in April of 1564, Shakespeare was said to be born. No one was completely sure when his birth was, but since his birth is generally celebrated on the 23rd.

    Three days after William's birth, he was baptizied in the Parish register of the Holy Trinity Church, where it was recorded.

    It's not said exactly when Shakespeare started school, but like everyother 7 year old in the Stratford area he started at this age. He entered into the basic grammatical school.

    Shakespeare had fell in love with a older woman by the name of Anne Hathaway, from Shottery. They were wedded at the Temple of Grafton.

    Back in the older days, having children after marriage was always the right thing to do. However, it didn't work out this way from William and Anne Shakespeare. Five months after their marriage, Susanna Shakespeare was born.

    On February 2nd, Judith and Hamnet Shakespeare were born. They were twins but Hamnet only lived 11 years, while Judith lived a total of 77 years.

    Shakespeare loved his family, but he wanted to join a company of actors and playwriters; this was the start of his theatre career.

    Many people believe that in the year of 1589 to 1591, William Shakespeare wrote his first plays called Henry VI, Part One, Henry VI, Part Two and Henry VI, Part III. The play was set during the lifetime of King Henry IV of England.

    In the years of 1590 and 1591, William Shakespeare was highly critiicized by Robert Greene’s "Groatworth of Wit". He was telling everyone of Shakespeare "unoriginality", due to his use of borrowing ideas by others for his own plays.

    Theatres in London close because of the ever so deadly Bubonic plague had spread and infected many, many people all over the country. After the disease had calmed down, the plays were up and running once again!

    This was a prosperous year for Shakespeare. In one year he wrote Richard II, A Midsummer's Night Dream, and the romantic love story of Romeo and Juliet. All of these, especially Romeo and Juliet are world known today and are a all time favorites!

    This year was the year that everyone finally realized how economically safe and secure Shakespeare was as a literature writer. He purchased a very prestige house called the New Place in Stratford, where he was originally from.

    This was yet again, another great year for Wiliam Shakespeare. In the year of 1600 he wrote a play that was said to be one of his greatest; Hamlet.

    In 1607, both plays Hamlet and Richard III are performed on the British ship, Dragon, off of the west coast of Africa at Sierra Leone.

    Everyone was doing fine and dandy, that was until the Bubonic plague had reoccured and shut down ALL theatres. It lasted from the spring of 1608, all the way until 2 years later in 1610 and took many lives with its exit.

    This was a tragic year; fore, the Globe Theatre burnt to the ground. The picture shown, is clearly a picture of the Globe Theater before it burnt down.

    Luckily, after the Globe Theater burning down it only took a year for it to be rebuilt. This started the session of having plays, once again.

    One thing after doing this project, i've realized how ironic and well, weird William Shakespeare truly is dispite of his great play writing. His birthday, 51 years later, he passed away. Two days after his death, he was buried at the Stratford Holy Church Register.
