  • Moros y Cristianos

Moros y Cristianos is a Spanish festivel that takes place between April 21st and 24th. During this festivle, the armies of Moros and Cristianos do mock battles in the streets, and people watch fireworks too. This festivel celebrates the battles between the Christians and the Moors that took place centuries ago. All year, planning is done for the party that lasts only four days.
  • La Feria de Abril

La Feria de Abril takes place from May 3rd and goes until May 8th. It is a huge festival with dancing, music, and entertainment. The fair begins two weeks after Easter Holy week. In 2010 it was from may 3rd to May 8th, but changes from year to year.
  • Castellers de Vilafranca

Hundreds of people work together to make tall towers of people stacked vertically on top of eachother. In 1805 two rival groups were making towers, then the tradition faded, then came back. It was originally a dance that involved stacking people, but then turned into a festivel.
