The man named Adolf Hitler became the chancellor of Germany do to numerous debates. Hitler won over all the people of Germany and started to terorize the German/Jewish people. He started the Nazi party wich sooner became known as just the Nazies. Then Hitler talked with the Chancellor of Italy and formed the Rome-Berlin axis.

On this day Japan secretly decided to go to war with America because the where allies with the Axis. They planned out a devistating attack to the Pacific fleet by damaging or taking out 12 ships, killing 2,402 Americans and destroying 188 plans like sitting ducks.

This battle was the only battle in WWll that the oposing forces never saw eachother. The Japenese launched their airplanes and America launched their airplanes. The Japenese sunk the aircraft carrrier Lexington and badley damaged a second, Yorktown.

This island was very stradgicly important to the U.S. during WWll. But Japan had beat us to it. We HAD to have this island or we might have losed the war. The Meriens foght hard and won this VERY important island. It was important island because in Japenese hands, they could attack an allie of the U.S., Aulstrailia.

The U.S. Mariens land on the beach of Normandy to recapture it. Their was a huge resistance against the U.S. forces by the Japenese. Their was an intence battle that lasted more than 3 days. But despite the resistance, the Americans prevailed.

The U.S. soldiers landed on the Island on this day. The Japenese had a VERY strong force on the island and fought hard and killed 6,821 Americans. The americans won though, and raised the flag.
