    In September of 1939 Germany invaded Poland. Within weeks of battling the polish army, the Germans defeated the the army. More than 2000 tanks and 1000 planes broke out in Poland during the invasion.

    When Germany entered France people awakened to the German announcement through a speaker, they were going to be invaded. People were fleeing from their homes as Germany were coming in with their tanks. After hours of German Gestapos arresting and interrogating, Parisans had hope for the french military.

    When Germany bombed London about 1,000 planes, 300 bombers and 600 fighters flew over London for attack. Raids fled across London, dogfights in the air. Germany intended to hit docks but many landed on residential areas. about 430 people died and 1,600 were injured.

    The Lend Lease Act was aid to Foreign countries who were at war during WWII. We gave supplies and ships to Britain and supplies to china, soviet union, Brazil and many more. But the Lend Lease Act brought the United States one step closer to join the war.

    The invasion of the soviet union also known as "Operation Barbarossa" was to eliminate communist threats and seize land. With 134 full strength army infront and 73 more along side Germany unleashed its wrath on the soviet union.

    On December 7th 1941 early morning Japanese forces surprised attacked U.S naval base . Planes flying all around destroying the base, ships and costing the lives of millions of Americans. 2,400 died in attack, 1,000 injured. The following day Franklin D. Roosevelt declared war on Japan.

    The Battle of Midway was a fight against the Japanese and the United States. American plane bases were unsuccessful but planes from above came to help. After their first attack the Japanese went back to rearm and refuel. Over the next two days in battle more than 3,000 lost their lives.

    Thousands of men nervous, scared and, ready to fight. Once they landed many troops were already there battling. One last look and May god be with them, they stormed into Normandy at 6:30 am. After hours many had died and many were injured but they were successful.

    Once the bomb "little boy" was dropped on Hiroshima it wiped out more than 5 square miles of the city, many lost their lives, some were incinerated within a second. 3 days later the U.S had dropped a bomb on Nagasaki known as "fat man" even though this bomb was small it still caused a lot of damage.
