    The Nazi forces launched a fast and brutal attack on Poland to test the tactic before they used it to defeat France. The attack kept moving and didn't stop till the enemy was defeated. They kept moving so the enemy could not stop and so that they could not prepare their defenses.

    The German forces punched a hole in the french defenses and just kept coming. The french started to retreat but couldn't set up their defenses in time. The fall of France was swift.

    Germany set for Great Britain so they could gain the English channel. The Germans started to bomb the British factories and harbors. Great Britain never surrendered to the Germans even though they were getting bombed.

    The Japanese attacked a United states Navy base in Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The Japanese were not happy that the United states stopped trading oil with them so they were going to invade the US but they failed in the attempt cause they did not advance to the United States.

    America learned the location of the Japanese aircraft carriers and decided to attack. The battle was mostly an air battle cause the US sent in their aircraft first. The US destroyed all but one of the Japanese aircraft carriers so the Japanese went on the defensive.

    The Nazis turn on the USSR and invade the Soviet Union. They reach Stalingrad where the Nazi forces were met with heavy resistance. The Nazi army was not prepared for the winter and was not able to last during winter, and that is when the USSR was able to drive the Nazis back out of Stalingrad.

    The US, UK, and Canada invaded Normandy to make a foothold in the German line. The US took the most dangerous beaches and had the most men in the attack.
