    The second world war. Known as the world's bloodiest war, not just soldiers and countries fell victim to destruction. Nazi Germany was pushing to exterminate the Jewish population, as well as any "inferior" race.
  • Invasion of Poland

    This was an attack Poland by the German forces. In response to the aggression, Britain and France declare war against Germany.
  • Fall of France

    The Fall of France, also known as the Battle of France, was the German invasion of France. Set Germany up in a better region to attack the rest of Europe.
  • Battle of Britain

    Britain defends against the German invasion and holds them at bay using their Royal Air Force. Hitler chooses to back off, this is one of his first mistakes, because the British Royal Air Force was running out of supplies.
  • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor
    Japanese mistake America as being in the war. They bomb Pearl Harbor. America had already moved the majority of their fleet away, but this sparks America to join the war.
  • Battle of Midway

    Battle of Midway
    A major naval air-sea battle takes place. In the course of 3 days the majority of the Japanese fleet is taken out by the American Navy. This turns the course of the war in Allied favor.
  • Battle of Stalingrad

    Germany and the Axis forces fought the Soviet Union for control of the city Stalingrad. The German defeat marked a turning in the momentum of the war.
  • Italy Surrenders

    The surrender of Italy occurs, taking one of the three major Axis powers out of the war. Mussolini is taken out of office.
  • D-Day

    D-Day
    The Normandy landings of seaborne allied troops. Troops landed in Normandy and were greeted with Machine gun and mortar fire.
  • Battle of the Bulge

    Battle of the Bulge
    This battle was a major German offensive as a last stand before an allied counter attack.
  • Germany Surrenders

    Germany surrenders, as Hitler is cornered and his building surrounded by the Red Army. Hitler commits suicides and Germany surrenders.
  • Dropping of the Atomic Bombs

    Two atomic bombs are released onto the cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki of japan. This is written as why Japan lost WW2 in American history books. In reality, Japan was worried about the mounting Soviet force from the North, and the encroaching American force from the south. The misinformation around the atomic bombs helped as well. Japan did not know how many more bombs they had. 10 Thousand Japanese died with each of these bombs.
