    Germany Blitzkrieg
    Nazi Germany invaded Poland, the act that started World War II. German forces tried out the blitzkrieg in Poland in 1939 before successfully employing the tactic. With invasions of Belgium, the Netherlands and France in 1940. The blitzkrieg was also used by German commander Erwin Rommel. During the North African campaign of World War II, and adopted by U.S.A familiar argument is that Nazi Germany deliberately rearmed in breadth rather than depth, proposing to tailor its force.

  • Attack on Pearl Harbor

    Attack on Pearl Harbor
    The Japanese managed to destroy nearly 20 American naval vessels, including eight enormous battleships, and more than 300 airplanes. More than 2,000 Americans soldiers and sailors died in the attack, and another 1,000 were wounded. The day after the assault, President Franklin D. Roosevelt asked Congress to declare war on Japan.

    After Japans attack on Pearl Harbor the U.S fought back. Even though Japan's attack was a failure. They had time to make plans while Japan was Busy attacking Asia. The U.S obviously went to Britain as an alliy knowing they would most likly agree (they did). The U.S finally officially declared war on Japan.
