    The Bataan Death March was the forced transfer of 60-80,000 Filipino and American prisoners of war, by the Japanese Army, after the Battle of Bataan during WWII. The 80 mile march was known by the physical abuse and murder, which brought a staggering high amount of fatalities to prisoners and civilians. It was a Japanese war crime, as the allies said.

    The Battle of Midway was the most important naval battle during WWII. Only 6 months after Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor, and one month after the Battle of the Coral Sea, the U.S. Navy defeated an Imperial Japanese Navy attack against Midway Atoll. The U.S. Navy did major damage to the IJN.
