It was the most important warfare in the war, because until it German thrived, but afer this warfare, situation has turned. -
Battle of Curon
The goal of the war was to destroy a front called Curoniac arc and to destroy soviet forces in this territory. Germans attacked this front from the North and the South but Soviet forces starded a counteroffensive and German advance stuck. This battle was one of the most important battles of the war. After this battle Soviet forces took an iniciative and german forces started to reced from occupied territory. -

On 1944, Ellie Wiesel was just a teenager when he and his family were taken from their home to the Auschwitz concentretion camp and then to Buchenwald. -

It was armed uprising of slovak rebel forces against German Wehrmacht on slovak territorry. Begun on 29th august like a defense against german occupation forces. -
Father
It is a day, when Ellie woke up on the bunk, and under him wasn´t his father anymore, just another sick person. They took his dead father while Ellie was sleeping, he never knew, if he was dead, of still alive, when they took him away. -
Deport
On this day people in Buchenwald started to realize, that something has happened, as Ellie qouted "He was late. Such leteness was unprecedent in the history od Buchenwald. Something must have happened." German started to deport people from the concentration camp. -
Safety
"There were still twenty thousands prisoners in the concentration camp, among them a few hundred children. It was decided to evacuate all of us at once. By evening. Afterward, they would blow up the camp."
