They used these because it would allow them to move faster and step away from the slow deadly tench warfare while taking more land and causing more damage.   • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor

    This was an attack to the US Navy by the Japanese military on a base in Hawaii. The Japanese did this to try and wipe out the majority of the US Navy since that is where most of the battleships and Navy boats were stationed. The Japanese did this because they knew they could not win in a war with the US if we were still at full power.     This was when Italy was ruled by Benito Mussolini and they were trying to take over all of Italy and killing civilians in the process so we invade their beaches and started taking the land over.     This was when all concentration camps where Jews were held were freed and The jews were free to go. This happened due to the defeat of Hitler and the decline of the Nazi party. The result of this was the freedom of Jews.

    This was known as one of the bloodiest battles in history and was fought on an island off the coast of Japan. We attacked there to try and take over islands of Japan that were thought to be defenseless.
