    Czechoslovakia is taken over by German Nazi troops. The country is no longer under Czechoslovakian rule. This marked the first incident where Germany began its plan to eliminate the jewish population.

    Operation Barbarossa was the code name used by the Germans for the invasion of the Soviet Army. The Nazis and their allies failed to capture the country as the Russian forces proved to be too powerful. The battle lasted 5 months resulting in the defeat of the German forces.

    The attack on Pearl Harbor was an aerial attack from the Japanese Imperial Army. On December 7th, 1941 Japanese launched a surprise aerial attack in an attempt at stopping the US Army from interfering with the Japanese convoys. The attack destroyed many battle ships, submarines, etc. and killed 64.
