    Battle of Crete
    Fought 5/20/1941-6/1/1941 on the Greek island of Crete. It was a Nazi Germany airborne assault versus a mixed force of New Zealanders, British, Australian and Greek troops. It was important because the invasion was able to move forward with the restrictions that it didn't interfere with Operation Barbarossa and that it used forces that were already in that region.

    Fought Apr 16, 1945 – May 2, 1945 by the Soviet Union and Germany in Berlin Germany. It was important because it was one of the last major offensives of the European theatre of World War2.
