United Nations are formed
The United states lead to the establishment of the United Nations. In April 1945 in San Francisco from over 50 nations reunided to write a charter for the UN. It was organized between the nations with Great Power and the five major World War II Allies.

Unconditional surrender of the Axis powers
World War 2 ended with the unconditional surrender of the Axis powers. On 8 May 1945, the Allies finally accepted Germany's surrender, a week later Adolf Hitler had committed suicide. On May 8, 1945 world war two ends and Europe celebrates. -
Truman Faces Stalin at Potsdam
Leaders of the Big Three met in the Berlin suburb. They reunited to discuss a plan to divide Berlin into four zones, occupied by the Soviet Union, United States, Grat Britain and France. They agreed to new borders and free elections for Poland and recognized the Soviets right to claim reparations for war damages from the German occupation zone. Stalin reaffirmed his pledge to enter the war against Japan.
