Death Marches
Death marches- near the end of the war, prisoners were evacuated out of camps by large scale marches, These evacuations out of camps by a large scale marches, These evacuations were to hide the war crimes, possible bargaining tools, also to have a supply of labor as needed. Countless people died in these marches. -
Jewish refugee's
10,00 jewish refugees were let into the country. In 1944 Roosevelt let in 200,000 refugees into the country in the matter of months. -
D-day
This was known as Day Day. V-J Day
August 15-V-J day was the day Japan surrendered to the allies. This day is the same as V-E day except for Japan because it was about two wars.
