This is the beginning of the war this is when people started tinking of germany as a real threat. -
Nazis invade France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands; Winston Churchill becomes British Prime Minister.
The German invasion of Luxembourg was part of Case Yellow (German: Fall Gelb), the German invasion of the Low Countries (Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands) and France during World War II. People were mad and wanted to take these cities back. -
Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor; Hitler issues the Night and Fog decree.
This is when the united states finally had a reason to get into the war. The united stetes did not really want to get into the war but after this event they had no choice. -
April 28, 1945 - Mussolini is captured and hanged by Italian partisans; Allies take Venice.
This was a big part because of the war because he died then italy swiched sides and that helped the united states with the war effort. -
July 16, 1945 - First U.S. atomic bomb test; Potsdam Conference begins.
This really scared the other countrys that we were fighting in the war because it gave us more power over the countrys that could not test atomic bomb. -
August 6, 1945 - First atomic bomb dropped, on Hiroshima, Japan.

Second atomic bomb dropped, on Nagasaki, Japan.
This is what really made japan surender if it was not for these bombs being drooped the japneese would have never gave up. And maby we would have lost the war. -

This is when the war was finally over and all the people in the united states and the people that were in interment camps were free and felt safe agian. -
Nazis invade Denmark and Norway.
People wanted to take away alot of germanys power but when they took over Denmark and norway it gave them more power and made them harder to stop.
