Once Great Britian and France found out they declared war on Germany. The result of the invasion was a decisive Axis victory. The invasion was over on the 6th of October, 1939.

The result was a decisive British victory and turning point in the war. The Battle of Britain ended on the 31st of October, 1940.

    A major battle in World War Two fought between the Germans along with their allies against the Soviet Union; fought for control of the city of Stalingrad. Fought mostly in close quarters combat, it is considered one of the most bloodiest battles in the history of warfare. The result was a decisive Soviet victory and a major turning point in the war. The battle was over on the 2nd of February, 1943.

    D-Day was the largest seaborne invasion in history. The result was a decisive Allied Victory.

    The Battle of the Bulge was a major German offensive launched through the forested area of Adrennes. Adolf Hitler planned the offensive with the primary goal to recapture the harbour of Antwerp. The result was a decisive allied victory and a German operational failure. Ended on the 25th of January, 1945.

    The battle of Iwo Jima was a major battle in which the United States fought for the captured island of Iwo Jima. The island was under Japanese control and the Americans wanted to capture the island along with it's three airfields. This five-week battle was one of the bloodiest fought in the Pacific during World War Two. The result was an American victory on the 26th of March, 1945.

    The Battle of Okinawa was the largest amphibious assault in World War Two. The battle ended on the 22nd of June, 1945. The result was an Allied victory.
