    The Japanese planned an attack on Pearl Harbor to take over the islands, but also to express the disgust they had with the U.S. The Japanese wanted the resources we had but was denied to them after they joined the axis powers. On December 7th, 1941 the japanese bombed pearl harbor killing 2,300+. Franklin Roosevelt said after the bombing that December 7th would be " A day which will live in infamy."

    Battle of the Bulge

    The battle of the bulge is an allied win in WWII. The Germans used an offensive tactic to push back the allied powers in the battle but failed when the allied powers ambushed the German troops. The main reason of the victory was the fact that the weather conditions improved thus allowing the U.S. to use their planes to counter the German troops, and the extra time they had to get reinforcements.
