    The invasion of Poland by Germany led by Adolf lither took place on September first 1939. it was the first event of world war 2 and the cause of the war. this event is significant to the war to end all wars because it was the first event to start the chain of events that eventually happened after the war started.the war was officially declared by Britain and France on September 3rd 1939.

    starting on september 3rd 1939 after the war was officially declared the battle of atlantic started, it ended on may 8th 1945, it was the longest battle of world war 2. during the battle germany surrendered to the allies towards the end of the battle in 1945. this was one of the most signifficant battles in the war to end all wars because it was superior to all other battles since it was the longest battle in the whole war.

    on december 7th 1941 the attack at pearl harbor happened. it was a surpeise attack on the U.S. naval base at pearl harbor on oahu island. it was japans only choice to destroy americas navy as quick as possible. it is part of the wars to end all wars because it is one of the events that people will remember most. there may be and are other events that people will remember well but the attack on pearl harbor is one of them.

Roosevelt signed the executive order. which designates military areas to exclude people from anything if they felt it was dangerous. this is also significant to the war to end all wars because it was a new time that passed and a new right technically came out and made it ok to exclude certain people from those areas if it was too dabgerous.

    starting on june 4th 1942 the battle of midway began, it ended on june 7th in the same year. during the battle the U.S. navy defeated a Japanese attack, it happened only 6 months after the attack at pearl harbour. this event is significant to the war to end all wars because it was a turning point in the pacific war.

    starting on august 7th of 1942 the battle of Guadalcanal took place, it came to an end on february 9th of the next year 1943. it was the first victory for the allies in the pacific theater. japanese soldiers were stationed in that section of the solomon islands. this is significant to the war to end all wars because it was a great and memorable victory for all the allies.

    on may 12 of the following year 1943 the axis powers surrender in tunisia and north africa is under allies control. this is significant to the war to end all wars because now north africa is under allies control and they can now follow the allies orders and it is a step for the allies because they now have another place to run and they can have things dine much faster

    in that same year on july 2nd Lt Charles B Hall becomes the first black soldier to shoot down enemy aircraft. he shot down a focke wulf-190 over western sicily. this is significant to the war to end all wars because he was the first black soldier to shoot down enemy aircraft and after him there were more to shoot down enemy aircraft as well which made things even more memorable.

    starting on february 15th of the year 1944 the monte cassino is bombed. but on may 11th of that same year polish troops that wanted to avenge the nazis invasion out of their country take positions around the ruins of the monte cassino ruins. this is significant to the war to end all wars because it was a significant bombing that happened and it was a beg step for the polish to drive the nazi invasion of their country away.

    starting on august 10th of the following year 1945 japan requests conditional surrender terms but is denied the surrender. 4 days later japan accepts the unconditional surrender terms. 16 days later after that the occuption of japan begins. then 3 days later the japanese sign surrender terms aboard the U.S.S. Missouri. this is significant to the war to end all wars because it was a big part in ww2 finally coming to an end. it played a big role in the end of the war.
