Kristallnacht, the “Night of Broken Glass"
Nazi Mobs filled the streets and destroyed many Jewish assemblies, business, and homes. The next morning, approximately 30,000 Jewish men were arrested for the "crime" of being Jewish and were then sent to concentration camps. The Battle of Britain
Hitler was wanting to invade Great Britain by attempting to bomb the Royal Air Force. The Germans decided to do this by bombing runways and British radars. German bombing continued but Britain did not give up which made Hitler very frustrated. Bombing of Pearl Harbor
Japan bombs Pearl Harbor, Hawaii destroying the U.S. Pacific headquarters, 18 American Navy ships, all the American military planes, and also killing over 2,000 soldiers, sailors, and

Battle of Midway
The United States military led by Admiral Chester Nimitz won an important victory that was a turning point for the United States making them more aware and ready for attacks. The Nazis surrendered from North Africa
Winston Churchill convinced the United States to join Britain and attack German land in South Africa. Eventually, the Germans surrendered from South Africa with a loss. Italy is liberated
Italy was greedy to break free and end their part in the war but the powerful German forces held them back from doing so. When the Allies moved into Germany they saw the concentration camps which made them very disturbed. This led them to fight even harder which forced Hitler to step out of power.
