    The Battle of the Atlantic was the longest millitary campaign in WW2, Going from 1939-1943. During this battle thousands of ships were sunk and tens of thousands of men were killed. The Allies were keeping a flow of supplies being transported on ships, and the Axis powers wanted to stop this.

    A battle where the royal air force defended the United Kingdom against the attacks from the Nazi Germany air force. The battle of Britain happened because Germany wanted to invade Britian but they needed to get rid of their air force first. Both sides lost during this attack but Britain got Germany to retreat.
