The US created the first atomic bomb and dropped it on Japan killing hundreds of thousands of their people directly from the bomb itself and later from exposure to radiation. After this the US made major reforms in Japan.

To try and avoid aggresion and to make peace throught the world, the US, the Soviet Union and 48 other countries formed the UN. The Soviets saw their fatality rate and entire post- war situation contrasted too much with the US' and was no lnger a part of it.
