    Prior to becoming a prime minister, Hideki Tojo was a general for the imperial army of Japan. He was also a politician and served as a assistance association leader.

    Pearl harbor was an air raid from Japanese forces to a military base called pearl harbor in Hawaii. We were using radar signals at the time and did not predict this course of action from the Japanese.

    Germany's first major setback in the war. This was fought with the soviet union for control of Russia.
  • British broke the Enigma code

    U boats attacked supply ships to Britain. The Germans were said to hunt in wolf packs, and have “happy time” because the Germans had destroyed the other boats of the Americans or Britain.
    The Americans had broke the German code system called the enigma. The British captured a U-110 sub and took the enigma machine from it.
  • Fascist Grand council suspended Mussolini

    Mussolini was suspended from the decision of the Fascist grand council. Mussolini was replaced by another Italian named Peitro Badgolio.

    The Allies decided to attack Europe through North Africa in order to attack Italy first, since Italy was seen as a week link. Which gave them control of the Mediterranean Sea. Hitler had sent general Rommel to aid Italy.
    Rommel became known as the desert fox. Allies invaded Italy in 1943, and Italians turned on Mussolini and Hitler.

    D-Day was June 6th 1944, where battleships planes had broke the Nazi defenses and troops came to the shore.

    Finland left the axis due to trouble with the Soviet Union.

    The United States of America had landed in the Philippines in the final stages of the war.

    Hitler commits suicide along with his wife by using cyanide poisoning while in their hideout bunker.
