Invasion of Manchuria
The Japanese invasion of Manchuria was when the Japanese first attacked China,officially declaring war on China. The Japanese and Chinese went at it for several days after the Chinese could not defend any more so they surrendered that surrender was called the Tanggu Truce. This meant that China had finally stopped fighting the Japanese but at the cost of China's dignity. -
Rape of Nanjing
The rape of Nanjing was a event that happened when the Japanese came to china and would kill and rape the Chinese women with the men they would kill them they would also kill many children with the women they would be raped then killed or killed then raped. Some of the soldiers would have competitions to see how many Chinese people they could kill. This was a terrible event that happened after this happened China was devastated about this event. -
Anschluss
Anschluss was a code for the Germans to annex Austria ad make it German territory there hope was to get extra from what ever Austria has to offer them.but it had failed when the Austrian government had found a new leader and he kept the population away form any of Hitlers Propaganda. Then after that had failed the Nazis wanted to send a Austrian representative to try again if they could get them to join Germany but that attempt also failed. -
Munich pact
The Munich Pact was signed by the prime ministers of France and Great Britain they signed it so did the prime minster of Germany (Hitler). This pact said that it would avert the outbreak of war it also stated that Czechoslovakia would be given away to Germany as part of the pact. -
The Night of broken glass
The Night of Broken Glass was a night were the Nazis damaged everything that was Jewish owned. This included synagogues schools cemeteries hospitals and Jewish owned business's during this night of terror more than 100 Jews were killed. The next day some Jews were arrested and taken to concentration camps and they were arrested for no reason. -
Invasion of Poland
The invasion of Poland marked the start of world war two when they officially invade Poland which is a part of the Soviet union. This will anger the Soviets and they will have no choice but to defend they also will fall eventually to the Germans.Poland did not have a proper army to defend itself so when the Germans attacked Poland's army had fallen to the Germans. -
Non-Aggression Pact
The Non-Aggression Pact was important because the signing of this paper meant that the Soviets and the Russians could not fight against each other for the next 10 years. Shorty after the treaty was signed the Germans invaded Poland which angered the Soviets after that happen the soviets would declare war on the Germans. The reason why the Germans did this is they have time to build up there army with out the threat of the Soviets invading. -
Evacuation of Dunkirk
The Evacuation of Dunkirk was the evacuation of Allied troops off the beaches and harbor of Dunkirk this happened because German forces where taken over France. Most of these soldiers got away but some 40,000 were captured by German forces the rest of the soldiers some 300,000 troops were evacuated safely.Most of all the soldiers that were captured were sent to work in concentration camps as POW's some of the wounded were executed and they were mistreated by the German soldiers. -
Tripartite Agreement
The Tripartite Agreement was a document saying that the Germans Italians and the Japanese would be a alliance. This meaning that these forces will team up and try to take down the U.S., Soviet Union and the British. Shorty after this was signed between them then the war would rage on leading to 80 million deaths compared to in world war one the losses were 15 million deaths. -
Lend Lease Act
The Lend lease act was basically the U.S Signing a paper saying that the U.S. will give aid to the other countries fighting in Europe. The act that was passed though congress said that we could ship out things like oil,weapons and food. This act will help the British, China and other countries help take down Italy,Japan and Germany -

Operation Barbarossa was a operation that was code for the invasion of the soviet union so when the time was right Germany will invade the Soviets. Germany will send over 3 million troops and 3 thousand tanks to attack by the time they would attack the German troops would be very trained. But one thing that they would underestimate is the power of the Soviets they would put up fight with the Germans. -

Pearl Harbor was one of Americas most devastating times during world war two, Pearl Harbor was a naval base America had off in Hawaii. it was Sunday morning they were off duty just relaxing until the Japanese had launch a surprise attack more than 2,300 Americans were killed in the bombing. After this event America had no choice but to enter in world war two and help with the fight over seas in Europe. -

The battle of Midway was a naval battle fought at seas with japan Midway is a small island that is located at sea in the middle of Asia and North America. This battle was a naval battle Japan lost more than 2,500 people they also lost 4 carriers a cruiser and 292 aircraft. America lost a destroyer 145 aircraft and we lost 307 people. -
D-Day invasion
The battle took place on the beaches of Normandy. These battles were very important because if these invasions failed we could not set Europe free from the Germans. About 156,000 troops stormed these beaches they contained Canadian American and British troops they stormed into very fortified beach with machine gun nests. -

The liberation of Paris Was one of the most important things during world war two. France was under control by the Germans then the U.S. stormed into the beaches. The Germans had the French working once the french found out that the Germans were under fire they would create a rebellion against the German forces. -

The Battle of Bulge was a campaign that Germany had. There plan was to hold off in the western parts of Germany and some other countries they still had left this took place during the end of world war two. They had lost many countries to the Allies but there plan was to hold off in eastern Belgium Northeastern France and Luxembourg. -

Hitler's Suicide. Hitler had a fortified bunker that had its own electricity source and a water source it was created with a lot of Nazi stuff he killed himself by taking a pill of cyanide and shooting himself in the head his wife was also there she killed herself with a pill of cyanide then Hitler before he died he ordered his soldiers to burn his body so then when the Russian's come they won't mess with his remains by the time Russian's were there they were one day away from where. -
Surrender of Germany
The Surrender of Germany was a critical part of world war two because with there surrender this means that all there remains of the Axis powers was Japan. There surrender came when the Allies where in Germany so the Germans Had no other choice but to surrender. But some people did not want to face such humiliation of surrendering so some people would just commit suicide like Hitler did. -
Hiroshima/Nagasaki
Hiroshima was a city in japan this city was responsible for a lot of the weapons that were distributed to japan. That is one of the main reasons why we dropped a bomb on them,Nagasaki was another city on the coast of a island called Kyushu we bombed them so that the Japanese would surrender. The reason why we bombed Hiroshima is because they made Japans weapons and the reason why we bombed Nagasaki is because we feared that Japan might bomb us and we needed Japan to surrender to win the war.
