The signing of the pact led the allies to believe that Soviet Union would be major threat in the inevitable war. The agreement seemed solid to the Soviet however later on the pact was broken.

This was considered the start of WWII. Germany invaded Poland from all directions and the Polish lost in the end. Poland had a pact with France and the United Kingdom. Since Germany invaded Poland, France and the UK declared war on Germany. The war begins.

Hitler was power hungry and when he made his move towards France he wanted the city that France was based out of. The French thought Hitler only had one path into France, however they were wrong. Hitler broke the Maginot Line and made his was to Paris. The French government moved to Bordeaux.

By signing the agreement Soviet Union looked as though it would be an enemy to the Allies, however once the pact was broken by Germany, Russia became a part of the Allies. By breaking the pact, Hitler made a big mistake. Later in the war, once Soviet Union was fighting Germany, Hitler was forced to divide his troops which weakened his power.

The president and Churchill began meeting and discussing the alliance of the United States and the United Kingdom. They both agreed that there was no territorial gain wanted as an outcome of the war.They also agreed that the alliance does not mean that they have to have the same government. Without the alliance of the two powers, the war would have ended in a German victory.

The Japanese surprised the United States. They attacked Battleship Row and left an imense amount of damage. The attack led to the full involvement of the US in the war. The US, after repairing the surviving ships, planned the attack on Japan.

When the Allies stormed the beaches of Normandy, they opened up a second front. By opening up the second front Hitler was forced to divide his troops which weakened his strong single front. This invasion opened up victory for the Allies. Hitler actually ordered his commanders to destroy Paris after the invasion, however they disobeyed him and retreated. Later on, Hitler tried a counterattack the Allies by splitting the troops up, but it failed.

Hitler had been losing battle afte battle and as the Soviets neared his bunker he commited suicide. He appointed a new commander before this and German soldiers everywhere began surrendering. Even the Germans were glad Hitler was gone.

Many argued that the bomb was not right. The invasion of Japan without the bomb could have costed the United States more soldiers than those who actually died in the bombing. The bomb killed between 35,000 and 75,000 people.

Japap had suffered heavy losses due to the atomic bombs. Before the bombs their motive was till the last man. The bombs reverted those ideas. Japan surrendered and essentially ended the war.
