The Atlantic Battle was the longest military campaign in the whols of world war two.Convoys and U boats are two very important terms of the Arlantic Battle. The U boats were small and very manoevrable. and convoys consisted of huge war ships positioned in a way that they were very difficult to attack and defeat. The war had many diffrent countries in it, it had the Royal Canadian Navy, the Kriegsmarine, the British Royal Navy, the Regimarina, Italian Navy. There were also many submarines. -

The battle of britain was the battle in the air with planes. it was basically an air campaign against Britain. This was because the Germans had no way of getting over the channel because our navy was too advanced and we would have dominated in a naval battle. -
Dunkirk battle and Operation Dynamo
The Dunkirk evacuation is when the allied soldiers evacuated from the beaches and harbour of Dunkirk, France. They were cut off by the Germans. Which would mean that our allied soldiers had no other way of getting away but using the water across Dunkirk harbour. The evacuation's code name was operation dynamo. this was put into action on the 26th of May 1940 -
The War in Africa
The war in Africa, some would say was a rather pointless war for the Brits to indulge in. this began on the 10th of une 1940 and ended on the 13th of May 1943. The campaign was fought between the allied powers and the Axis powers. Fighting n Africa began when the Italians declared war. It was really between Italy against Canada and Britain. it started with them driving us back then us retalliating slightly, then one more time they drove us back and then finally pushing them back to Tunisia -

Pearl Harbor is a harbor in Oahu Hawaii. The event was an attack from the Japanese soldiers who bombed the harbor and ended up causing great distruction. it destroyed four battleships and injured many american soldiers and naval occupants. -

D-Day landings was the allied invasion of Europe. The Americans The British and the French were fighting against Germany and Italy to reclaim the Europe from the Germans. It was an airborne assault on the Germans. -

The dropping of the atomic bomb was by the Americans to the Japanese it was dropped and destroyed both herishima and Negasaki. it wiped out the whole cities and the land shall never be used again. four years later the effects of radiation sickness were still hitting the civilians then.
