Mirracle of Dunkirk
The Dunkirk Evacuation was also known as the Mirracler of Dunkirk this was because 338,226 Soldiers were evacuated from the beaches by a vessell of 850 boats in just nine days , this was Across the English Channel taking all the soldiers away from the German army who could of attacked at any point, any body with a big boat in Britain helped out our soldiers and brought every single one of them home. It was a very quick process but soldiers said it seemed to go on forever. -

The Battle of Britain was basically a war in the Sky above most of England. The Germans attacked us , knowing we had a weak air force, The Luftwaffe was the name of the German Air Force. Douglas bader led the air attack shooting down 22 Planes, he was the one that one it for Britain, some of the pilots only had 10 hours training. Britain was safe and Germany would not be back for a while. This was quite a miracle as they were expected to easily beat us. -
Pearl Harbour
Japanese surprised an attack on America , it was an air attack , the tactic name from the Japanese was Kamikaze. This caused problems for Britain because our supplies were being limited, and we would not have been supplied any weaponry. This was because the Americans were our suppliers as well as there own, so their supplies became limited so ours did aswell. -

This was the day when 160,000 allied troops landed on a 50 mile stretch of land. They marched miles upon miles and there aim was to defeat Nazi Germany , they wanted to Defeat Hitler , it was Held on the beaches of Normandy , France. 9,000 Soldiers were killed , but on the up side 100,000 started to march through europe to defeat Hitler. -
